New Delhi: Indian motorcycle maker Bajaj Auto launched the world’s first CNG bike Freedom 125 on Friday, July 5. This bike will run on CNG and Petrol. Riders can switch between the two fuels with the push of a button. Bajaj has designed this motorcycle keeping the middle class Indians in mind. Customers can book this bike from any Bajaj showroom in the country from today. The Freedom 125 CNG bike was launched in the presence of Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari. How much is the price?
Veteran bike maker Bajaj has launched the Freedom 125 CNG bike starting at Rs 95 thousand, with a maximum price of Rs 1.1 lakh available in three variants. The NG04 Drum variant is priced at Rs 95,000, while the NG04 Drum LED is priced at Rs 1.05 lakh. Also, its third variant NG04 Disc LED is priced at Rs 1.10 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
125cc single cylinder engine
The Bajaj Freedom is powered by a 125cc single-cylinder engine, which runs on both petrol and CNG fuel. The placed of CNG tank under the seat. The engine generates 9.5 PS and 9.7 Nm of peak torque. Also, the company offers a range of 300 km. Bajaj claims that the Freedom 125 CNG bike has the longest seat in the segment, with a height of 785 mm. Other highlights include an evergreen styling, a strong trellis frame and a monoshock. Also, it is equipped with a petrol tank with a capacity of 2 liters.
