Returning from Paris on Thursday, Nobel laureate Mohammad Yunus was sworn in as the interim government’s chief adviser at Bangabhaban. He was read the oath by the President of that country Mohammad Sahabuddin.
Bangabhavan was ready for the swearing-in ceremony from Thursday afternoon. Oath was taken there in the presence of many people. According to the country’s news media sources, 1200 people were invited to the swearing-in ceremony of the interim government.

Shortly before the swearing-in, the names of the remaining 16 people, apart from the chief adviser to the interim government, were announced. They are Saleh Uddin Ahmed, Hasan Arif, Brigadier General MM Sakhawat Hossain, Tauhid Hossain, Asif Nazrul, Sharmin Murshid, Adidul Rahman Khan, Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Supradeep Chakma, Farida Akhtar, Bidhan Ranjan Roy, Khalid Hasan, Noor Jahan Begum. , Farooq-e-Azam, Nahid Islam, Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan. 13 people took oath on Thursday. As they were outside Dhaka, the other three could not take the oath that day.
