Virginia Woman Wins Lottery Twice Exactly One Week Apart

A Virginia woman was left in “disbelief” after winning the same lottery game twice exactly one week apart.

Jennifer Minton first won $50,000 on October 10 playing the online game Safari Quest

Her second time around she won a jackpot worth $912,936.

“I’m in shock,” Minton told Virginia Lottery officials. “I’m in disbelief.”

Minton was sitting around a campfire playing the game again. When she saw the jackpot on the game suddenly reset Minton said she thought, “Dang somebody just hit. They are so lucky!”

The lottery earned $867 million - an average of $2.7 million each day.
